Questions and answers

Can I sign a document with an electronic signature from another country?

Yes. A3.EDM accepts electronic signatures from the national certification authorities of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia, as well as A3 certification authority certificates. Before signing, the system checks certificate revocation, the owner and the certification authority chain.

What happens to the signature when the certificate expires?

A timestamp under the RFC 3161 standard is added to the signature. It confirms that the certificate was valid at the moment of signing, so the signature remains verifiable after the certificate expires.

How many signings are charged per document?

A certificate-based signature uses one signing from your plan, a biometric signature uses three. Receiving and viewing incoming documents is not charged.
